Our hotel is located centrally near Liseberg, Kungsportsavenyn, Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, Ullevi, Scandinavium, Universeum, Museum of World Culture, Gothenburg Museum of Art and many more. You can arrive easily by flight, train, bus or car. The nearest public transit stop Berzeliigatan serves airport bus, two tram lines and several buses. The stop is only 100 meters from the hotel. You can also take a tram to Scandinavium’s stop, only 250 meters from the hotel. There is a public parking house on the same street if our own parking spots are fully booked.

At Hotel Lorensberg, you will sleep in a quality bed on a firm and comfortable mattress. We have always two pillows per guest. The hotel is non-smoking and all of our guest rooms are equipped with a shower and toilet. We are Green Key certified since June 2016. The hotel is cash free.
Our corridors, lobby and breakfast room are decorated with more than 100 unique wall paintings by a local artist Lars Gillis (1929-2012). The wall paintings give the hotel its personal touch and cosy atmosphere.
Breakfast with a Variety of Homemade Options
At the hotel, you can enjoy our generous breakfast buffet. The hot buffet includes, among other things, homemade scrambled eggs, oven-roasted vegetables, bacon, cocktail sausages, and meatballs. The cold buffet features yogurt, homemade granola, freshly baked bread and seed crackers, croissants, and our own homemade ginger shots. We also offer a choice of medium-roast or dark-roast coffee.
For guests with special dietary requirements, we provide a small selection of dairy-free and lactose-free products in a dedicated refrigerator. We also offer gluten-free bread. If you would like your gluten-free bread toasted, please let us know and we will provide a toaster reserved exclusively for gluten-free products.
Our breakfast dining area consists of several smaller rooms as well as a charming glass-enclosed veranda. Outside the veranda, you will find our peaceful and inviting courtyard, where during the summer months you can enjoy your breakfast in a beautiful flower garden.
