Christmas at Liseberg park – Discover an enchanted world

One of the biggest Christmas markets in Sweden with market stalls, ice rink, winter carousels and other attractions as well as restaurants with all the Christmas delicacies premieres on November 14th 2026.

Millions of Christmas lights turn Liseberg into an enchanted winter fairytale. Take each other by the hand and go gift hunting among the Christmas market stalls, let the winter carousels and roller coasters warm you up or enjoy skating together at the ice rink.

Hotel Lorensberg is at the heart of Gothenburg. We are within a short walking distance to both Liseberg and the city centre.

You can easily book our package deal with accommodation, breakfast buffet, admission and ride pass to all Christmas opened attractions at Liseberg here in our webshop. The Christmas package is bookable already. From November 10th you will also be able to book only admission tickets to Christmas at Liseberg park, when you book your room on our webpage. This is a nice alternative if you don’t intend to try any of the rides in the park, but still would like to enjoy the Christmas market and other fun. You can also buy your admission tickets or ride pass at our front desk.

The opening hours at Liseberg vary, so please visit Liseberg in order to see when the park is open. There you will also see what’s happening in the park during the Christmas season.

Our Christmas package with admission and ride passes to all Christmas opened attractions at Liseberg are available in our webshop various dates during the period November 14th to December 22nd 2026. 

 

Christmas Holiday in Kaninlandet

During the Christmas holidays, Julius and the other rabbits have put in a little extra effort with action-packed Rabbit Theatre and more winter-ready attractions. Visitors have access to attractions in Kaninlandet as well as the ice rink. Come and play with the rabbits and experience winter in Kaninlandet and stay at Hotel Lorensberg within comfortable walking distance of the Liseberg amusement park.

Book our delightful package with accommodation (including breakfast buffet) and entrance as well as ride passes for winter-open attractions in Kaninlandet. The package is available from January 2nd to 10th 2027.

The park is only open between 11 am and 5 pm, meaning visitors get access to Kaninlandet and the ice rink but not the entire Liseberg amusement park.
