By train or bus to Gothenburg Central Station
If you arrive in Gothenburg and the Central station, the easiest way to get to us at Hotel Lorensberg is by taxi or by tram. Tramline number 4 to the Berzeliigatan stop or tramline number 2 to the Scandinavium stop. Make sure you take the tram in direction towards Mölndal. If you choose to walk to the hotel you can walk up the Avenue until you get to Götaplatsen, where you turn left into Berzeliigatan. This walk will take you about 20 minutes.
By flight to Landvetter Airport
If you arrive in Gothenburg by flight, you land at Landvetter Airport. From Landvetter Airport you either choose taxi or the airport coach, takes about 25 minutes. The airport coach makes a stop at Berzeliigatan, just a few minutes from Hotel Lorensberg.
By car
When you come from Stockholm/ Alingsås / Lerum or Oslo / Kungälv, drive towards ‘Centrum’ and leave highway E6 at exit ‘Ullevimotet’. Drive in the left lane and follow signs ‘Mässan / Scandinavium / Liseberg’. At Ullevi turn left, and drive straight ahead on ‘Skånegatan’ and follow signs ‘Götaplatsen’. When you reach the traffic lights at ‘Scandinavium’, turn right and you are on ‘Berzeliigatan’ where you will find Hotel Lorensberg on the left-hand side.
When you come from Malmö / Mölndal from the south or Jönköping / Landvetter Airport from the east, you’ll leave the highway E6 at exit ‘Örgrytemotet’ and follow signs for ‘S Gårda / Svenska Mässan’. When you have ‘Liseberg’ on your left-hand side, drive in the right lane. When you reach the big roundabout ‘Korsvägen, keep to the right towards ‘Scandinavium / Centrum’. Drive in the left lane and follow signs ‘Götaplatsen’. When you have ‘Scandinavium’ on your right-hand side, turn left and you are on ‘Berzeliigatan’ where you will find Hotel Lorensberg on the left-hand side.
Please note that on 9 December 2022 Berzeliigatan becomes a two-way street between Södra Vägen and Sten Sturegatan. There will be some changes to the intersections near the hotel. Please pay attention to the traffic signs and be careful when parking at the hotel! You can read more about the changes on Trafik Göteborg’s website.
